De Cosmic Trigger gong am Oktober 2001 fir d’éischt op d’Welle vum Radio ARA. De Pascal an de Lex wollten eng Sendung maachen, déi sech mat Musekstyler beschäftegt, déi um Radio net sou oft un d’Rei koumen, wéi z.B. Post Rock, Chamber Pop an Experimentelles. Well d’Sendung 3 Stonnen dauert, ass dat och eng gutt Méiglechkeet, Lidder ze spillen, déi ganz laang daueren, deelweis souguer méi wéi eng Stonn. Den Titel vun der Sendung gouf bei engem Buch vum Robert Anton Wilson geholl, dat sech mat den Illuminatie beschäftegt.

Ofwiesselnd huet all zweet Sendung e Spezialthema, déi aner Sendung geet dann éischter op Neivirstellungen an.

Ufank 2007 huet de Pascal sech wéinst senger Musikcarrière (Crash/Zendo, Secret Speech) als DJ zréckgezunn, agéiert awer weider als Beroder am Hannergrond.

Cosmic Trigger started broadcasting on Radio ARA in October 2001. Pascal and Lex had the intention to concentrate on music which normally gets less attention on radio stations, like post rock, chamber pop and more experimental songs. As the show is lasting three hours, there is enough space for longer songs which may even exceed an entire hour. The title of the radio show has been inspired by a novel by Robert Anton Wilson dealing with the Illuminati.

Each second show has a specific subject, the other show is mainly dealing with new releases of the genre.

In the beginning of 2007, Pascal didn’t work anymore as a DJ as he wanted to concentrate on his musical projects (Crash/Zendo, Secret Speech), but he’s still acting in the background as a consultant.
