What do EU citizens expect from the European Union? How do they envision the future? Through an innovative and very interactive year-long exercise in democracy, EU citizens could share their views, make suggestions, debate issues and contribute to the shaping of the European Union. This was the Conference on the Future of Europe, which has just ended – but the real work has just begun in putting these ideas into action. Talking about the Conference and its results on tonight’s programme are Head of the Luxembourg Representation Anne Calteux, MEP and Conference participant Marc Angel, and one of the participants selected to represent Luxembourg and EU youth, Martine Leclerc.
