Надія оживає

Другий випуск українського шоу «Червона калина» прозвучав в ефірі ARA City radio 4 квітня.

У передачі прозвучала поезія всесвітньо відомої української поетеси й драматурга Лесі Українки – «Без надії сподіваюсь», адже напередодні випуску весь світ дізнався про жахливі злочини російської армії на окупованій території навколо Києва. Але водночас окупанти відступили, і наша віра у перемогу та надія на відродження миру й життя стали сильнішими.

Лейтмотивом цього випуску стала українська народна пісня «Ой, у лузі червона калина» у виконанні лідера гурту «Бумбокс», яка є народним гімном у цій війні, адже калина символізує водночас і Україну, і кров козаків – українських воїнів. Також прозвучали пісні українських сучасних виконавців, які зараз активно підтримують і боронять країну: Go–A, Тіна Кароль, «Океан Ельзи», «Антитіла», The Hardkiss, Mad Heads.

Про освітні можливості для українців у Люксембурзі ми говорили із Надією Балич – головою громадської організації, яка опікується українською школою в Арлоні (Бельгія).

Hope is alive

The 2nd release of the Ukrainian show “Chervona Kalyna” aired on ARA City radio on the 4^th of April.

The program featured a poem by the Ukrainian world known poet and playwright Lesya Ukrayinka – “I hope without Hope”, because before the show the whole world became aware of the atrocities of the russian army on the occupied territories near Kyiv. But now the invaders have withdrawn, and our faith in the victory and our Hope for peace and life have grown stronger.

The leitmotif of this release was the Ukrainian folk song “Oy, u luzi chervona kalyna” (means: Oh, a red viburnum in the meadow) performed by the leader of the Boombox band, which is the national anthem of this war, as the red viburnum tree symbolizes Ukraine and the blood of the Ukrainian warriors – the Cossacks. Also featured songs by Ukrainian contemporary singers who are now actively supporting and fighting for the country: Go-A, Tina Karol, Okean Elzy, Antytila, The Hardkiss, Mad Heads.

Also, we spoke with Nadiya Balich, head of the civic organization for the Ukrainian school in Arlon, Belgium, about educational opportunities for Ukrainians in Luxembourg.
