Raagamalika is a music program presenting Indian classical music from the sub continent. It covers both Hindustani and Carnatic music which are the two major genres in addition to folk music which is an integral part of Indian music.
Kavitha Ramachandran, the host hails from Chennai in India and has been living in Luxembourg for many years. She is passionate about bringing the richness of Indian music to a wider audience. Started in March 2009, through the local FM channels and live streaming, the program reaches out to a global audience. A number of artists, music lovers and others feature on interviews with Kavitha on the program.
