We have so many reactive conditionings from our past that do not serve us in our current lives. Practicing daily mindfulness helps us see the whole picture impartially. By repeatedly nurturing our brains with new behavior and thought patterns as well as intentionally focusing our attention we can get out of the reactivity loop and thrive as compassionate beings. Daily breath awareness meditation is a good and simple start for this.
