Salwa arrived in Luxembourg from Damascus, Syria, via Hungary in November 2018. She stayed at the Lilli Unden hostel for seven months, before moving in with a host family.
Somehow, during deepest darkest lockdown in Luxembourg, she found her way to Radio ARA Studios and onto the Salam Show with Ehab. Lisa soon discovered her talent for chat and recruited for the ARA City Radio Shows as well. Salwa’s first feature is called Fun Facts about Arabic Culture and is broadcast on Wednesday’s at 9.35am.
