Today’s listening party revolved around American singer-songwriter Haley Heynderickx and her record I Need to Start a Garden released 2018 under Mama Bird Recording Company.
DIYmag’s James Bentley describes Heynderickx’s debut LP as

Which, for those who have seen her live, would be so familiar. Listening to the whole record in one go is like going through every emotion that one can go in a lifetime, starting from sadness to frustration and finally gaining a sense of grounding and peace. With her voice Heyndericks takes you onto a journey of self-discovery that is so important for us as humans, to in the end, feel that all your worries can be fixed by starting a garden.
